Upgrading to 19.1 question using Shared database

I currently have a couple windows and a few android boxes and 1 Vero 4K+ running 18.9. They all use a shared database from my Mariadb docker. I’ve read a few threads that some people are having issues with the database after the upgrade?

Would it be better to have my windows or android box do the database upgrade or does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? Thanks

It shouldn’t really make much of a difference. If you have one client that is able to scan the library faster (probably one using a wired connection) then you may want to favor that machine as it can be quite slow. I have done the updage on both Win10 and in OSMC and not had any issues with either running on a Shared MariaDB hosted on Windows. If you have any issue it is not too big of a deal as all you need to do is drop the new db and it will start the conversion over again the next time you reboot any of your new Kodi clients. Just make sure you don’t drop your 116 db until you are sure your new one is solid.

Let my Windows box update the database and then did my Vero4K+ update. No problems for me.
Thanks
