UPNP works only once, then I have to restart the service

Hi there,

for a few weeks now my RPI2 behaves strangely.

I get a “Couldn’t connect to network server” message when I want to access my shows on my raspberry pi from my macbook (kodi). I can solve the problem temporarily by deactivating upnp, wait a few seconds and then restarting it. But this only works once and then I have to do it all over. I’m by far no expert on this but I suppose the upnp service crashes somehow.

Is the USB disk power by it’s own power supply?

Yes. It is. It worked fine until a few weeks ago. There was no change in hardware and as far as I can remember no change in settings either besides osmc and plugin updates.

Device: raspberry pi 2
Installation media: SDcard
Connection: Wifi?
Power Supply Type: standard wall plug
Power specs: no idea but it was recommended for use with the rpi
Peripherals: wifi dongle, HDD with its own power supply
