USB Drive on a Pi 2?

Hi,

Do I need to do something to get USB thumb drives to work on a Raspberry Pi 2?

It seems to be listed under fdisk -l but nowhere else?

I connected an ext. HDD and it was mounted directly in root/media/ without further interaction.

This was a thumb drive and it didn’t appear in /media/

Would it matter if I’m mounting an NFS drive there?

I’ve found the problem!

I was mounting a NFS share directly into /media. When I changed it to a different mount point the USB drive mounted there.

All sorted now…
