I’m trying to sign into a Guestnet internet connection in work. It’s the type that doesn’t have a WiFi password but if you connected using your phone it prompts you to sign in when you first use a web page, is this something I can get around on OSMC?

You might be able to use wget or curl to make an http request that hits the accept button.
Yes, in theory this could be done. If the portal supports WISPR this could be done for other hotspots too.
But I suspect the use case is for users without keyboard and in turn command line access
