Vero 4K crashes

Hi, since I have “upgraded” my 4K to a 4K+ I use the “old” 4K ob my bedroom tv. However I now suffer - infrequent - crashes where “nothing goes” and I have to pull the plug.

I have uploaded the logs under http://paste.osmc.tv/adimupupub.

Maybe you can check, why Kodi (17.6 March update) hangs.

Many thanks

Georg

4K+ with similar settings works perfectly.

Are you able to update to Kodi v18.x?
Kodi 17.x is now end of life and is not supported.

From a quick glance of your logs:

  • Your GUI resolution should be 1080p, not 4K (although this won’t cause any crashes)
  • There is a database problem

You have problems mounting your NFS shares.

You have autofs installed but have lines in /etc/fstab prefixed with a semicolon. I assume this is to comment them out, though I’m not sure that a semicolon is supported.

So are you trying to use autofs or fstab?

Oops sorry, I meant 18.6 (typo).

What is my database problem?

Best regards

Georg

I deletetd the fstab mounts and autofs still works, thanks.

i*ll report if i have further crashes!
