Vero 4K Plays 1080p Fine But Freezes At The Start Of All 4K Playback

Hi everyone,

As per title says. I have my Vero 4K connected to a Samsung 4K TV with a high speed 4K 18gbps HDMI cable. It is also connected to my router with an ethernet cable.

I think it might just be a setting that needs changing but I can’t seem to figure out what. Could the TV resolution need changing? I currently have it on HDR+ mode.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my log uploader: URL:https://paste.osmc.tv/tagihiwehe

Many thanks!

Can you post a debug log?
Also make sure the GUI is set to 1080p and Adjust Refresh Rate is enabled.

Sam

Is this the debug log: LOG:/home/osmc/.kodi/temp/kodi.log
MEM: 1440924/1832268 KB - FPS: 8.4 fps

Also where do I find the GUI?

Thank you.

Not sure if this has something to do with it but but the light on the router where the ethernet cable is connected is lit up orange whereas all the other ethernet ports are green. Does an orange light mean a bad/poor connection by any chance?

It means the connection is only 100Mbps.
The Vero 4K is only 100Mbps; unless you have the 4K +.
