Vero 4K problems with TVHeadend

I’m using the Vero TV dongle and TVheadend 4.2.6.

The TV works usually well, but I have just made an update this morning to OSMC 2018-12-1. I have another TV tuner directly linked to the TV that works well.

The kodi logs in :~/.kodi/temp/kodi.log says:

Right now, the Kodi interface in stuck on ‘caching’ when I try to play a channel

When I’m connected to the tvheadend server (http://192.168.8.100:9981/), and use the Live TV player, I have ‘An unknown error occured’.

First: do you have an idea on how to resolve the problem ?
Two: Where are specific logs for tvheadend on my vero4K ? I have searched avery place I could.
Three: how to update tvheadend with Vero4K ? Is it a good idea ?

You can view logs in the TVH GUI, and I think there’s a setting there for where the logs are written to.

Please confirm you installed TVH from MyOSMC.

We recommend you use TVHeadend from the App Store; as we will test this and maintain it; so it can be delivered as part of regular updates.

Sam

It’s been installed from the App Store. I have uninstallled it and reinstalled. Now it works well.

That’s peculiar. Let’s keep an eye on things if they resurface.
If it happens again, try go to Power -> Shut Down. Unplug the Vero and do a cold boot.
