Vero 4K + shipment details (08/08/18)

I don’t belive anyone that order after 25/7 received their order.
I believe that the OSMC team is shipping 25/7’ orders and those after should be shipped later.
As was stated here there were lots of orders starting 25/7 and, as a result, it will take longer to ship them all when compared to orders placed prior to that date.

Okay, I received my 4k+ this morning (from July 25th order). I’m thankful it got here in the end :slight_smile:
First question, how do you switch it on? I plugged it in a have the red cross lit on the unit, but no output on screen. I swapped out my existing s905x libreElec box, so connections should have been fine. Admittedly it was a quick look this afternoon, so I’ll delve in later once i have time.

Also, do you need to have the IR connection plugged in to use the remote control?

4k+ up and running… I previously inserted an SD card (from my last s905x box - for my fan art) which may have caused the unit not to boot on my initial trial.

It will ship. We haven’t forgotten about you. But currently I can’t provide updates for every customer.

I’m now starting to spend more time answering shipping date request emails than I am packaging, which isn’t good.

I suspect that by tomorrow afternoon we can give shipping ETAs automatically

Yes – that’s right, but I haven’t had a chance to get it to work as expected yet.

It’s probably not done because Sam has had answer so many emails and forum messages like this one. Imho, Sam does his best to balance things out. I think everyone should just take a big breath and try to relax.

My Vero 4K+ has been stuck in the Norwegian customs for close to a week now; I’m also waiting for a Trinnov Altitude 32 - which is most likely in the same queue. My guess is they have one person processing all the packages (for the entire country, and this guy takes coffee/cigarette breaks constantly). It a mystery how this process only becomes more and more time consuming every year. I thought we were moving into the future with more efficient ways of doing these processes. Welcome to Norway!
