Current set up is as follows
Samsung TV - Denon 4800h - Vero 5
I used to have the same set up but a vero 4k+.
As I’m using lights around the TV I’ve always had the vero go to a black screen screensaver after 5 mins of no use (making the LEDs then off)
With the vero4k+ when i turned on the Denon the Vero would come alive automatically and that would turn the TV on.
Now on the Vero 5 I turn the amp on and the Vero doesn’t come alive unless I use either the Vero remote to do something (up down etc) or I use the android app to do similar. As soon as I do this, the LEDs turn on as does the TV.
The TV needs to be triggered by the Vero due to some known issues in the Samsung cec stack sadly - and this was working with a vero4k+ 
This is probably some random cec setting I need to change on the vero5 but for the life of me I can’t figure out what.
Any help would be appreciated!
