Haven’t found anything, so i started a new topic.
Have a Vero 4K+ since 2019 and just bought the Vero 5.
Everything is fine, well, almost. There is an issue when i use Fast Forward/Skip.
The audio is ok, but the picture freezes for a few seconds.
Not everytime, but often and also with different files (all via NFS and NAS).
Just wondering if there is any solution. And, this didn’t happen with my old Vero till i applied an update!
Thx and sorry for typos, i am not a native english speaker.
We are aware of this.
It will be fixed in an update next week. If you’d prefer, I can give you instructions to manually apply it now.

Hi Sam,
and thanks for your answer. I can wait, but maybe someone wants to know, so, if its not too effortful just tell us…
Hi
Hopefully the issue is now addressed
I’d appreciate it if you could test this and provide feedback before we potentially release this as an update to other users. To test this update:
- Login via the command line
- Run the following command to add the staging repository:
echo 'deb http://apt.osmc.tv bullseye-devel main' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/osmc-devel.list
- Run the following commands to update:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade && reboot
- Your system should have have received the update.
Please see if the issue is resolved.
I also recommend you remove /etc/apt/sources.list.d/osmc-devel.list after updating.
This will deactivate the staging repository. You can do so with the following command:
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/osmc-devel.list.
Please note that we will automatically disable this update channel after 14 days on your device in case you forget to do so to ensure that your system reverts to the stable update channel.
Thanks again.
But, cant access the vero via ssh, port 22: Connection refused
Found this thread: Can't enable SSH - #17 by sam_nazarko
So, i will wait, dont want to reinstall Osmc.
Edit: Worked. Compared the IP from my IP-Scanner (…0.4) and the one from the Vero System Info Screen (…0.44). Could connect with the IP Address from the Vero System Info and applied the update.
Quick Test looks good.
THANK YOU SAM
Has that update been released yet?
