Vero V from Vero4 first impressions

OK. The old has worked fine, sortof, but thought I’d support Sam by upgrading :slight_smile: The Vero 4K is from 2017.

I really wish that you could buy the unit “bare”, ie no remote, no cables no PSU. The new box is nice, but the optical connector is a bit too close to the HDMI one.

Upgrade was uneventful. Backupped on the old. Connected the new, restored the backup. It bluecreened but came up. Installed the latest updates and again bluescreened (sad face), but everything seems to work OK.

Sorry. I do not understand. No I have no use for the remote nor the PSU. All my media stuff is powered from a proper, RF-silent PSU and I use a miniature USB keyboard instead of a remote. So much easier to type.

@AndersG My best guess is that he want to purchase the remotes from you.

Possibly.. Shipping would be prohibitive though.
