Vero V gives no HDMI signal when starting a movie

This is difficult to consistently produce, but occasionally my TV will drop to “No signal detected” from my Vero V.

It’s essentially stock straight out of the box with an nfs source added. When I start a movie, maybe 1 out of 3 times it drops. If it starts, very rarely it’ll drop about 20 seconds in. Once we’re a minute or two in, it’ll be stable the rest of the time.

Nothing jumps out at me in the logs, but I admit I don’t really know what to look for or where to look. Any direction is appreciated!

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
