Hi,
I’ve just bought the Vero V, previously I owned a Vero 4k+ . All appears to work fine after restore the osmc settings ( except I had to reset screen settings, but nothing relevant ).
The problem came when I tried to play DV content, all of them plays in HDR ( or HDR10+ if there is a fallback in the file ).
I read another posts and appears that my TV isn’t compatible with Vero V DV support, since dv_cap returns LL_YCbCr_422_12BIT . ( I’ve tested directly to the TV with an HDMI 2.1 cable and through a Denon X3700H receiver )
osmc@osmc:~$ cat /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/dv_cap
DolbyVision RX support list:
VSVDB Version: V2
2160p60hz: 1
Support mode:
LL_YCbCr_422_12BIT
IEEEOUI: 0x00d046
EMP: 0
VSVDB: eb0146d000440370805e7594
Are there any plans to solve this issue ? all other players like Panasonic UB820, Apple Tv or any streaming device that support DV doesn’t have problems. ( I can help testing with my setup if neccesary )
If don’t, I read in the past that in the first Vero V stages, there was a tone mapping from DV to HDR or something similar, how can I enable that if it’s still working ?
Thanks in advance
