Vero V stops playback on Dolby Vision HEVC remux

Playback stops and Kodi returns to GUI. Source is NFS from 192.168.1.15. Kernel log shows repeated ammvdec_h265 vdec_release/vdec_create and Dolby metadata parser errors:
DOLBY ERROR: metadata parser process fail.
File is 2160p HEVC Dolby Vision/HDR10+ remux.

Thanks in advance

Update:

The Vero V is entering Dolby Vision correctly during playback.

HDMI config during playback:
3840x2160p24hz
RGB 8-bit
DV type DV-Std

dmesg shows:

Creating Dolby Vision metadata parser instance success
DV:[0,8441683000,12,DOVI,544,0]

But later it starts throwing repeated Dolby parser errors:

DOLBY ERROR: meta(194), pts64(…) → parser process fail
DOLBY ERROR: meta(194), pts64(…) → metadata parser process fail

After that, the decoder is released and the HDMI output switches back to SDR:

vdec_release instance
Dolby VSIF, switching signal to SDR
outputmode changed to 1080p60hz

So this does not look like an EDID/NFS issue. Dolby Vision starts successfully, but the metadata parser fails during playback.

Does this happen with any DV file?

Please post debug logs so we can see better what Kodi is doing.

Can you upload a sample of the problem file, please?
