Vero4k+ loses wired connection

Hi there , lately I have had all kind of issues/ crashes with vero , mostly related with internet connection , first I use vpn and time to time when streaming a remux it was losing connection to vpn after playing a movie for a min, then once restarted all fine.
But today it’s losing the wired connection and losing the assigned IP, sometimes I get the message no wired connection or it does assign a random IP (169…) no internet.

I managed to get the correct ip after unplug box , cables etc but it came back again.

Any idea about what can I do in order to resolve this ?! I have also restarted kodi , box etc but seems to not resolve , I do get internet on wireless if I connect ( usually disabled )

Have you tried changing the ethernet cable?

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

cable isnt problem, as i tested with other devices.

I have restarted router etc but still the same, i managed to get internet in the box for a couple of minutes via wired connection.

Please try another cable if you can.
Otherwise, I recommend cleaning the contacts of the Ethernet port.

I think problem is on my end, I am having problems with my Ethernet port , it works it stops to work. Anyway thanks.
