Video stuttering, audio sync issues on Leia

Hi,

I’m running OSMC on a RPi 2. I’m reluctant to reinstall because I also have squeezebox running on the same device and it took a certain amount of work to get that running. I updated to Leia in hopes of getting Netflix to play thorugh the rpi but unfortunately that never worked for me.

I am getting lots of issues with stuttering video and veyr large audio offsets. htop shows many, many threads running and CPU maxxed out during video playback. I’ve uploaded to the pastebin here: https://paste.osmc.tv/ajuroyeqod

The errors seem to start around here:

any hints about where I should be looking ? I really appreciate any help – I’ve been running oSMC for a while but this is my first attempt to troubleshoot a problem (mostly /cause there haven’t been any till now!)

Thanks!

Kodi v18 is still experimental.
Older builds may be better.

I’d recommend avoiding v18 for now if you want everything to just work

Thank you @sam_nazarko. Can you point me to a rollback guide of some kind that will help me revert to v17 without doing a new install? If that’s not possible I guess I will have to reocnstruct my steps for other services that now live on that rpi. thank you!

Unfortunately a downgrade isn’t trivial I’m afraid.
