Warranty period on remote control

Hi,
I feel like I should be contacting somebody directly about this but thought I’d put it here in case there is something I’ve missed.

The dongle for my OSMC Remote Control doesn’t appear to work anymore. I have tried plugging the dongle into a number of different machines and dmesg shows no activity whatsoever.
I’ve tried this on OSMC, Ubuntu and Debian.
I don’t know what to do if it is not even being recognised.
The actual controller shows a blue light on button press so I presume that is fine.

There is a 12 month warranty for the remote.

Please try plugging the dongle in to a device and posting the output of dmesg. Windows will not always recognise the adapter.

If there is a short pulse on the remote LED, then it is paired with the receiver.

If you contact sales@osmc.tv and attach your receipt or order # we can arrange for immediate replacement.

No pulse means it’s able to communicate with the receiver.

But dmesg doesn’t show the adapter.
