Wi-fi connected but it is not possible to download rasp PI2

Hello,
mi wi-fi (belkin) dongle seems to be correctly recognized, the status is connected but everytime I try to download add-ons or another program the download remains ay 0% and after a while i got the message of instalation failed. Do you jave any idea how to solve this issue?

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. Please see How to submit a useful support request - General - OSMC for advice on how to help us.

OK I did some tests and found the following:
I have 1 router (without wi-fi) connected to 1 access point in the way to have wi-fi connection in my house.

If I connect to the accesspoint whether by wi-fi or cable , i cannot download anything even if the status is connected. So the problem is not the wi-fi itself.
To the same access point I have connected several devices without any problem.
If i connect to the router, everything is fine.
May you suggest me any test to perform in the way to solve the problem?
I’m completely noob in linux.

I also have wifi issues, maybe it is disconnecting after x seconds as in my case :frowning:, that’s why it cannot download anything.

I’m also having this strange issue, under network / wireless I can connect to the wifi without any issues and after a while it drops the connection.

Sam, my log is here: http://dsh.re/66b3d
The wifi dongle is an Edimax EW-7811Un, that should just work fine with the raspberry.

these are completely different issues.

Even if this issue seems to be not very interesting for this forum, I would like to post another little update. I made a test with openelec and everything run fine, so I deem it’s a OSMC issue.

Okay

But without providing a log as initially asked we cannot determine your issue.

Nobody is going to take an interest if you can’t provide the logs asked for - we don’t have any more idea than you do without them.
