I have been having some intermittent wifi issues in the past few months with a rpi3. I have changed wifi channels, and relocated the pi, whic help, but issue always comes back. Yesterday I found a fix.
It was the hdmi cable I was using. I switched it out with a better monoprice one and no issues so far.
