Ok, I’ve tried making dnsproxy=yes in the connman.conf, but it still won’t work…
My dilemma is that I’m using a neighbors WiFi but don’t recall the password I looked thru wpa_supplicant to no avail, I could get the password again but I’m frustrated that I can’t recover the pass or get tethering working.
I updated osmc today(as I do every day) so from what I’ve read it should have worked for me thru the gui.
Any help on either front would be appreciated

If you can’t connect to the WiFi, tethering won’t work, so it’s important to make sure you can connect first.
If you haven’t changed the password, then it’s possible this neighbour suspects their WiFi was being used and changed it.
It might be better to talk to your neighbour about this.
The WiFi works, and it looks like it’s giving a ip to the “tether” but it’s still a no go…
I can just ask him for the password, at this point it’s a battle between me and the tech and I’m just to stubborn to give up
