A new Vero is not coming soon. AFAICT the latest offerings from AMLogic don’t do anything more than Vero V’s SoC - maybe a bit faster and a bit cooler for what that’s worth. And they’re not cheaper unless you’re talking about the S905X5M which is seriously hobbled on features. But Sam’s the only one who knows for sure.

Quite. Features like USB3 have been removed to cost down the chip.
