With HW acceleration disabled in Player settings the memory leaks do not occur, however resulting high cpu usage causes it’s own playback issues.

Thanks. I’ll see if this is easily fixable.

Yes,
Please provide it if you have it.
Thx

Sorry for the deiay. I tried to get the all-000-bump-to-Nevcairie.patch in place again first. Now that I have it ready (hopefully)… here are the modified 3 files needed to build version 1.1.1. But the memleak still occurs anyway.

Tanks a lot !
Do not have to be sorry for delay, you work for free !

Cheers

Did you ever get version 1.1.1 running with OSMC? I recompiled and renamed the two jar files but it doesn’t work…

Sure, It’s currently running here. You need the new libraries as well, since pre 1.1.1 had only one .jar file. The old libraries do not load the second .jar.

You can try my .deb (“on your own risk” rule applies)
https://www.blafasel.at/download/armv7-libbluray-osmc.deb
which is built from a git clone with the already posted patches applied.

But currently it doesn’t make any difference, since hardware decoding still fails after selecting a menu option.

Thanks. I just wanted to take a look and see what had improved in the new version.

Any development on the BD menus?

Not at this time

got it

I know it’s not a priority at the moment, but I was just wondering if you found out what was causing the memory leaks?

No chance to look at this yet.

I’d take a more detailed look if HW acceleration was feasible.

Sam

Is there any news about this?

Unfortunately this isn’t going to work at this time

Sam

In near future or aren’t priority?

It’s not something we can fix on our side

Sam

Ok Sam, thanks!

What exactly is the issue, is it the lack of HW acceleration?

Where does it need to be fixed?

Yes.

Java is needed and doesn’t support hardware video acceleration.
