It’s safe from a security perspective. It’s not safe from the perspective that Netflix might get annoyed and break that add-on at any time.

Of course. My point though was that since I don’t know anything about coding or or how NetFlix works, perhaps the add-on was created by someone with less than scrupulous scruples. I have no idea. It could be stealing all my home sex videos or something.
The add-ons in question are open source so most likely someone in the user base who does know how to code would have picked up on their being something so nefarious.
Some random add-on picked up from a pirate source, it would be wise to assume a much higher level of risk.
