@mgc8: Is there anything else connected to the USB ports of the Vero4k? My Anker adapter requires in peaks 150 mA.

Perhaps, it is helpful to collect a full log set like described here.
So,

  • activate logging
  • reboot the Vero 4k
  • upload the log set by either grab-logs -A or the MyOSMC GUI method and provide the URL, here
