I had just read that on the Kodi Wiki page. I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the info!
It appears that loading of media sources occurs before advanvedsettings is loaded in kodi v18. So for now the path substitution of sources won’t work on the AFTV. Not a big deal for me really. Here is a link to the info @kodi forums.
Not sure if it will work but you could try doing it in passwords.xml as all that really does is path substitution.
