I don’t know if I’m entirely offtopic with this but I’m facing this issue on Vero 4K+ and OSMC on Kodi19…any chance to have this fixed before 19 stable will come?

As far as I know kodi 19 is not even in alpha yet and a stable release is probably a year and a half away

No, it has been fixed months ago in 18 stable OSMC, what I meant was that I’d like it to be fixed in 19 too…maybe before 19 stable will come because is a long wait.

@gmc likely needs to sync the patches from our v18.
He does this periodically.

If guaranteed stability is what you need from your system, maybe you shouldn’t be running pre-alpha development builds? 🤷

More functions are almost certain to break along the way if you stay on 19.

I"m fairly certain all the patches from 18 have been sync’d but will recheck. This could be a new issue.
V19 is not even in alpha yet so its far from stable.

Should be fixed in the next nightly, but as advised, you may wish to stay clear of v19 for the time being if looking for something stable.

Don’t get me wrong guys, I like to stay on alpha/beta channel and contribute to make OSMC better for stable release, I’ve only written that hoping that an already known patch could be possibly applied also on not stable channel…nothing else! I do know the risk, it’s not a big deal for me that annoying issue but I thought it could be helpfull to let you know that is actually present on OSMC 19
