@the_bo These are the online available armv7-tvheadend-app-osmc packages: Index of /osmc/osmc/apt/pool/main/a/armv7-tvheadend-app-osmc
So, try sudo apt-get install --reinstall armv7-tvheadend-app-osmc=4.2.4-1
if you want to go back to 4.2.4.
It is not a good approach to downgrade tvheadend. The current version is more stable and has many bugs corrected.
Before downgrading try backing up the current configuration.
Then delete (or move)the configuration folder and start a new setup.
Well downgrading back to 4.2.4 fixed my epg scan issue, spent hours on 4.2.6 trying to get it to work but no avail.
So i will wait to the next version of tvheadend is released before upgrading. Is there a 4.2.8 version out yet?
Well … epg database changed between versions.
Clearing all settings or less aggressively deleting epg database file is usually enough.
Do this with tvheadend service stopped.
You can get more help for tvheadend in its home site / forum.
