the whole point of the DFS is that your share is independent from a machine. IT can even be on more than one machine at once. The DFS system keeps track of where the share is at all times.
I don’t have any Windows systems here, so I’m not real familiar with DFS. I guess just give it a try and see how things work out.
That’s a bit strange. The forward figure is the amount of read-ahead data in the cache. Zero means the cache is empty, so caching is effectively disabled. I see that it’s also zero bytes in the photo.
But we established that metric is not working IIRC.
