Nothing will play on Vero V

Hey bud, been a while. I sent Tonewinner an email way back after my last reply on here (19 Aug) explaining all the findings in this thread as well as linking them to it. I JUST received a response yesterday. They didn’t give any details but simply attached a firmware file to the email for me to update the AT-500.

Here is the log from the Vero now with the TVs HDMI set to standard mode: https://paste.osmc.tv/upegabaduy

I’m not sure if its the FW update or OSMCs recent update but it certainly seems like things are improved with EDID though I’d love for you to take a look since you know much more about it. It looks like it understands the 3rd block now. The “source physical address” now passes through that 7.1.3.8 weirdness that the Vero got direct from the TV instead of 0.0.0.0 like before the FW update. Interestingly though, the second block from the AT-500 (i think) shows 4.1.0.0 which seems correct (I’m no expert). Most importantly the initial problem of videos not playing is still present unless I use compatibility mode on my TVs HDMI.

@grahamh any thoughts on what could still be causing the issue?

I hate to be annoying, but is there anything I can do to help figure out the issue of content not playing unless I nerf my TV down to HDMI 1.4?
