I reinstalled the image and now I can SSH using wired connection and the same errors reported earlier are present in the log:
INFO : CActiveAESink::OpenSink - initialize sink
ERROR : CActiveAESink::OpenSink - no sink was returned
ERROR : ActiveAE::InitSink - returned error
I can see from top that kodi.bin is running. The first errors I can see in the log file are:
