Sorry for the late answer. I did not find the time to test things earlier.
I tried your commands but in /var/lib/connman/settings it was already Enabled=true for bluetooth. But when I try
hcitool cc aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff
(with the correct MAC)
I get Can't create connection: Input/output error
However, using bluetoothctl
works fine to get a connection (also the OSMC gui works for connecting).
I also tried updating to the latest release just now but the problem is still unsolved
I had a similar issue with a Samsung bluetooth keyboard connecting to Linux Mint. Strangely the solution I found was to add the line “UserspaceHID=true” to the /etc/bluetooth/input.conf file and reboot. Then unpair and pair the bluetooth keyboard.
Just an idea… try comparing the /etc/bluetooth/input.conf configuration parameters between LibreELEC (if you still have the working install) and OSMC.
Thanks for this information.
I suspect this won’t have any ill effect, but it’s important for us to check if with some other devices to see if that’s the case.
