Hi, thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, as also mentioned in the thread, this doesn’t work for Samsung TVs. I can confirm that tvservice -n reports the same wether the tv is on or of.
I might go for the hardware solution (use a GPIO to check power on the USB ports of the TV), though.
