It wasn’t a dig at Sam - he and all of the osmc developers have done sterling work with the software … I know that he has much knowledge in this sphere and was seeing if he had any news on the matter.
We don’t have a license to distribute Widevine libraries on Raspberry Pi. It’s not our platform.
We do have a license to distribute them on Vero under certain conditions, as well as access to specific versions which have hardware acceleration and allow support for 4K playback.
