Based on the mediainfo of a sampling of my untouched (1:1) DVD ISOs, some have color primary information in the MPEG stream, and some do not (you can check by running mediainfo on VTS_01_1.VOB, as this is usually the start of the main movie).
So, a single ISO that does show the issue doesn’t help pin down the cause without the mediainfo.
