Sounds like a iptvsimple bug. Is your problem the same as this? Its for Windows but might also apply here:

Windows only. In LibreELEC (Linux), the times are correct. NZ has just switc…hed to DST so we are now UTC + 13:00. In Windows, the time is correct and Windows does display right time and is aware it is DST. However, in KODI - all the EPG programs are out by an hour. If I set a +1 offset in the settings, they are corrected. Looks like the issue could be here: https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.iptvsimple/blob/6e44490841e31e149b1d71348fc29df4a04f89d9/src/PVRIptvData.cpp#L831 **_get_timezone (does not include DST) is used for Windows tm_gmtoff (includes DST) is used for all other arch.** It looks like Windows was using tm_gmtoff until the below pull request (October 2016) swapped it to _get_timezone. https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.iptvsimple/pull/90/files This may explain why a user reported it's fine in KODI 16: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=315206&pid=2618530#pid2618530 TEMP SOLUTION: 1) Go to the PVR IPTV Simple Client Settings and set the Offset to +1. 2) Then go-to the KODI PVR / TV Settings -> Guide -> Clear Data 3) When daylight savings ends, set the offset to 0, and clear the guide data again.

Using the OSMC DVB Stick with TVHE, 50FPS (BBC1,ITV,etc) channels are being detected as 25FPS, hence the ‘Adjust display refresh rate’ option means that the display is switched to 25 and not 50 Hz.

As a workaround, if i set the output to 50FPS, and remove 1080P@50Hz from the whitelist, these channels obviously playback fine.

I think this issue appeared once before, but it was quickly fixed so i dont think i even reported it.
Happy to provide logs later on if that would help.

Hi I’m a recent convert from LibreELEC so just getting my head around OSMC.

Been testing The Kodi 18 nightlies (as per instructions on this thread) but for some unknown reason when I go to upgrade to the latest build I cant get any further than 17.8-304. No matter what i try I cant get 305 or 306 as it says no such file. It was fine upto 17.8-304 but then suddenly stopped working.

error message from terminal SSH access:

osmc@osmc:~$ sudo apt-get install rbp2-mediacenter-osmc=17.8-306

Did you tried sudo apt-get dist-upgrade ?

Yes I did. Just upgrades to 304 as newest version. No 304 or 306.

Might try going back to stable release (kodi 17.6) and trying to upgrade to 306 from there as a solution???

Wonder if it’s the bump to beta 2 that’s causing it???
