Our skin can do it, but Kodi has to deliver the correct value for it. So far, it can’t IIRC.
Thanks for the quick reply. To circumvent the kodi issue, would it be possible to implement a file name extension instead like it was done with Dolby atmos and DTS-X eg “.HDR10+”.
Regarding a similar matter, would it be possible to also add a media flag for SDR 10 bit material which is used in some movies instead of HDR?

Sry to say, but I won’t be going down the road of file name tagging anymore. When no other option was available I did implement it for 3D audio and video, but Kodi options are available now, so the info labels responsible should be expanded/added/fixed. Long-term, I’d like to get rid of file name tagging all together (v22 adds 3D audio info labels).
