Not everyone lives in a city. Lots of people live in rural areas where high speed internet is not available.
Ah yes my bed I haven’t considered that. Although where I’m from we had fiber at a small farmhouse where my grandfather was born 90 years ago In the country side in the middle of nowhere literally 10 years earlier than In the city. Because they paved the road in like 2005 and put it in. Meanwhile I had pretty slow adsl connection for years so I get where you are coming from. But with 5g even rural areas should be covered pretty good in the upcoming years. Data caps are a different question though. I know a friend in a rural area has a LTE modem that gives him decent speeds but only 100gb of bandwidth
Data caps, poor speeds, internet outages are still a reality for many people. Many people still have DSLv1 speeds, so the cloudy services don’t make any sense.
Just got notice that my ISP is raising prices again in 2020.
