I had a thought… Not to throw a monkey wrench into the discussion, but does your NAS support NFS? If so, you should think about changing to using NFS as it’s faster (even with system mounts) than SMB.

Good to hear, still strange that the OSMC update would have triggered this. Maybe your NAS had an upgrade at a similar time.

My NAS did, but this issue came up with the OSMC update; I updated my NAS to see if it would fix it.
