Vero 4K blue light

Well that was the request from the (outspoken) users.

Well I’m glad the Vero survived the process of having the DC lead pulled out and re-connected several times while the device was “hot”. If there is an LED on the front of the V4K+, it’s kind of reasonable to assume that it should come on…

You can turn it on if you wish.
We removed the blue LED because of overwhelming requests.

I vaguely recall that at the time the V4K+ was announced the LED disable was mentioned. But the form factor of the device did not change. Hence it’s not intuitive to plug it in and find there is no light, as I run a regular V4K as well, and had completely forgotten that the V4K+ has the light disabled. Fortunately I have not fried my V4K+ through repeated attempts to power it up, not realising that it was being powered up.

You won’t physically damage the device by plugging in the power supply and removing it.

The red LED will illuminate for the first few seconds during boot until the system has started however. Only when the LED has turned off has the system initialised correctly. This happens quite quickly (1-2secs)
