I’ve removed the USB ethernet dongle and plugging the ethernet directly into the Vero 4K and restarted it, and that has worked, the date and time where instantly set correctly.
There seems to be a configuration issue on the Vero4K/+. The Pi2/3/4 devices don’t seems to have this issue.
As a workaround, in order to get ntp working, run this command:
sudo systemctl disable systemd-timesyncd
then reboot. Run systemctl status ntp to see if ntp is now working.
