I don’t have any progress on this just yet. I would like to release a new update shortly; but 422 output is still WIP.

As promised, I will give you an update when we have progress.

I’ve a delayed but soon to be shipped Vero 4k+ Am I better cancelling this till the fix is done as it won’t even be plugged in until then.

I see it’s not in the July update.

You can cancel your order by emailing support@osmc.tv with your order details. Keep in mind that there is a price rise due shortly.

422 is now able to receive more attention. It will be fixed, but it wasn’t feasible for us to target it in this update.

I’ll start a test thread when we have a solution.

I’m going to close this thread as some users have emailed and are confused about whether 10-bit output support is possible and if banding issues are fixed. 10-bit and banding issues are resolved for some time.

I’ll start a new thread for 422 output post-resolution which is a different issue to the originally reported, and resolved problem.
