2x Vero V remotes stopped working

This partially relates to this thread: Vero V using MSQL stopped working - #5 by fraser.pearce
I have 2 devices one device sees daily use, one sees weekly use. Both devices ‘went wrong’ on the same day - the (MySQL) library they share went wrong, plus the remotes stopped working. I’m in the process of rebuilding the MySQL library, but I’m still unable to get the remotes to re-pair. Replaced the batteries with blister-pack fresh branded (Panasonic) ones. Holding OK and home makes the light on the remote come on… but it stays on for ~20s and doesn’t then work with the device in either case.

I also tried lugging in a USB drive into the external ports. With the USB2.0 one the drive lights up, with the USB 3.0 it initially flashes then stays off.

Any advice on what to try next?

The internal receiver for the remote is not showing up in the logs for either of your Vero’s. Please edit your post to include the logs from both devices that you posted in the other thread and then contact support@osmc.tv with your order number and a link to this thread. Unfortunately at this stage there is nothing more we can do on the forum for this issue and you will need to start a support ticket.

And please, don’t try to open the devices!

I’d reinstall OSMC via USB amd retry remotes

Then rebuild from scratch no backups …

Will pick up the ticket shortly

Tried this, no difference, remote still not pairing or usable

I see these messages on boot, but they seem mostly to be to do with eARC?

This isn’t related
