Are the same three keys affected?
Stop key and go up volume down.
But if I’m not watching a movie, the volume up and down buttons work.
Thank you
Can you please upload a log so I can check this? It sounds like this may be software related.
Sam
How do I have to do?
Any idea of what is happening.
It’s not a debug log so I can’t see if the remote presses are being picked up; but I couldn’t reproduce this with my remote.
Does installing the 2018.12-1 version from Download - OSMC resolve the problem?
How can I upload a debug log?
With version 2018.12.1 if it works.
Thank you
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
-
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
-
reboot the OSMC device
-
reproduce the issue
-
upload the log set either using the
Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or thessh
method invoking commandgrab-logs -A
-
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

the buttons that do not work are to raise and lower volume and stop.
The back button does work.
thank you
Are you using passthrough?
Can you try pressing the Stop button with the logs and play a file and try adjust volume?
Sam
Ok when I get home I try it
thank you very much for your help
Thanks for the log.
VolumeUp is being detected:

But you have passthrough enabled.
We can’t control the volume (sometimes this is possible with CEC) or we wouldn’t be bitstreaming the audio.
Sam
Ok.
Thank you
Any advice for my case? It would be nice if you could also react on my previous posting here.
The May update changed nothing.
It’s possible we need to send you a new dongle.
Please open a support request by contacting support@osmc.tv.
The new dongle arrived today and the remote is fully working again now.
Thank you very much.
