hmm, refresh rate is not the same as fps, it if set the refresh rate to 25 the interface is slow as hell or did I missunderstood. and adjust refresh rate at start or stop does not do anything for the video file.
Post new logs with Adjust Refresh Rate On Start/stop.
Changing the GUI to 25fps should not make any noticeable difference.
I did see one other thing in the logs, it looks like you have a HDMI switch? If you do can you connect the Vero directly, bypassing the switch?
thanks will new logs when I have time.
I donāt have any switch, I used to have before but only a receiver now.
If you have an AVR, is there a reason why you donāt have Audio Passthrough set? That will give the best sound.
hmm, you are right, I only get pcm 2.0 now on a atmos movie, but If I enable passthrough I will probably have sound problem again on those other files. what passthrogh settings have you enabled on your atmos receiver?
I have 7.1, Best Match. Passthrough on and enabled: AC3, E-AC3, DTS, TrueDH and DTS-HD
Atmos and everything else I try works fine with these settings.
Try Settings>Player>Videos>Allow hardware acceleration - OMXPlayer>(disable)
enabled passthrough and it works again, weird. Iāll play some movies/series and will report back if the problem comes back. perhaps hardware acceleration will fix the out of sync problem when playing small files
You say the issue is with āsmall filesā but I donāt know the size has anything to do with it. These problem files have something else in common. Are there all home movies taken with a particular device? It is not uncommon for some devices to make recording that are problematic in certain players. Often times it is beneficial to at least remux with something like mkvtoolnix if not a full re-encode with something like handbrake to make them more standardized.
