I noticed in the process of (unsuccessfully) trying to make a Tivo remote work, that whenever I “Browse” and select a custom lirc config in remote settings in My OSMC, that one of OSMC’s bundled lirc configs disappears from the top of the list in the GUI. This confused me especially since I was using the very first config (apple silver remote) as one of my references to periodically confirm that the IR receiver was working.
Exiting and returning to the remotes configuration screen restores the removed configs, as well as removes the manually added configs, i.e. resets the list, so it’s only a GUI issue. I’m mentioning it here in case it’s not intended behavior.
Running on an rpi3, but I’m assuming the behavior is the same on all platforms.
