@Dimitris_D Could you try to replace the content of of /usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.osmc/xml/Includes.xml with the following? (Please, make a copy of this file before! You’ve to restart your mediacenter to make it active.)
It contains some minor fixes and we’re not sure whether this is related to your issue with the USB audio device and the OSMC skin at all. Since it is a fix for other things it won’t hurt to leave it on this system regardless you see a change or not.
