Hi,
Can someone explain the process to correct missing album art (ie covers) please?
I’ve got a Kodi install on a win PC, & for those, I go into the album, do a refresh, & in somecases select appropriate album info, which usually refreshes the art.
I believe the recommended way by team Kodi is to use MusicBrainz Picard to add id tags to your files that include the MusicBrainz id release identifier. That program can also embed artwork if you wish. You could also use something like Mp3tag or similar to embed artwork for files that support it. If you don’t want to go that kind of route, or your files don’t support it, then there is always the option of just saving artwork manually for the albums and in Kodi bring up the information window for the album and use the “choose art” button to manually select what artwork you want shown.
You go to somewhere in the music library where you can highlight over an album (such as (homescreen)>music>albums>) and then bring up the information window. This window can be brought up via context menu>information or if your remote has a key for it hit that (The “i” on an OSMC remote). In that screen there should be an option that says something to the effect of “choose artwork” but it may vary from skin to skin. Estuary looks like this…
