I’ve lost my Vero 4K remote! Well someone’s moved the thing and now it’s nowhere to be found.
Can I use a different remote somehow? For example I have a special remote for my TV that I ordered to get into the development settings of my TV. Any chance this would work? I can’t watch anything! Help!!!

It may work if your TV supports CEC. If it’s an IR remote, there is the potential to record button presses.

Thanks for the offer Sam. My TV is an LG E6 OLED. If I’m honest I think my girlfriends 6 year old nephew has picked it up whilst here and taken it for walkies. But she’s having none of it! Anyway I’ll have another hunt again over the weekend and get back to you.

I assume that this is the setting in Kodi that allows full remote control.
However, if you have enabled external (outside access to your LAN) via port forwarding or similar then I would take extra care.
