Another black screen problem

I’ve searched and found no answer - hope you can help.

Last night I started watching a video. After a couple of seconds, the screen went black, and I’ve not been able to get it back. TV thinks it is getting a signal.

System boots, and I can SSH

I’ve previously set up an edid.dat file (due to the OSMC not recognising TV at boot)

I have already tried renaming .kodi and rebooting.

Sorry for the bump. I’m getting nowhere here.

Would really appreciate suggestions of anything else to try before the next step of a clean install.

Consider setting a video mode with hdmi_mode in config.txt

OK - in case anyone finds this, I have the solution (for my case at least)

After trying all sorts, I tried plugging direct into tv instead of via receiver. This worked. Then the receiver worked also - until I started a video, then it went black and stayed black.

Eventually tried increasing HDMI signal drive level in config.txt.
config_hdmi_boost=4

Early days, but that seems to have fixed it.
