Anyone else playing minecraft? Server on pi2&3

I’ve just installed a small minecraft server on my Pi3, currently running okey with 3 local players, with some modifications on settings for the client and a few plugins on the server to reduce lag and memory usage.

Server is configured with render distance 5 (i know very low), so client should be as well or the server has to work a bit harder.

Anyway what i’m asking is there anyone out there in OSMC-land that might wanna help me “stress” test the server, i will be playing some media at the same time have up to 8 players playing at the same time.

If there is any interest in running a minecraft server on your own Pi (had it running on a 2b too), I’d gladly make a small howto.

If you want to make it an App, I will help.

thanks sam, will toy around with it a bit first. Like try it with the openjdk that comes with jessie instead of java from oracle. Test its performance while playing media and having a bigger server load then i can generate locally. Test a few anti lag plugins and then there is some copyright issues i need your feed back on, since 2 corporations are involved, Mojang and Oracle.
